ANGRY FAN TRY ATTACKING MOYES, AFTER CITY DEFEAT

Manchester United's dismal 3-0 defeat in the derby with City proved too much for some fans to take - with even Sir Alex Ferguson feeling the force of the frustration.

Edin Dzeko scored twice - the first after just 43 seconds - and Yaya Toure grabbed a late third to send City surging up to second in the Barclays Premier League, three points behind leaders Chelsea with two games in hand.
And that sparked fury among United supporters, with some near manager David Moyes having to be restrained by stewards and others directing their anger at Ferguson, apparently for his role in appointing his successor.

It all made for particularly uncomfortable viewing for under-fire Moyes, who watched much of the second-half with head in hands.
A spectator bounded down the steps from his seat in the south stand to shout at Moyes and had to be restrained and escorted away by security staff.
At the end of the match, stewards guarded to 'Chosen One' banner hanging on upper tier of the Stretford End to prevent fans removing it.

Moyes had hoped United had turned the corner following back-to-back victories against Olympiacos in the Champions League and West Ham in the Premier League.
But their limitations were brutally exposed by City, with the outcome of the match never looking in doubt.
Afterwards, Moyes was forced to concede that United were a distant second best.
He said: 'We didn't start the game well. They were very good but we grew into the game and up into the second goal we had a fighting chance. But we weren't good enough in the end.
'I think we have played a very good side, playing at the sort of level we are aspiring to. We need to come up a couple of levels ourselves because at the moment we are not there.'
